Ed Weidinger was the WRLC Treasurer for over 25 years – the longest-serving Labour Council Treasurer when he died in April 2021. He was a life-long labour activist and dedicated to improving the lives of all Waterloo Region workers. Our community Labour Day Picnic and BBQ has been renamed in his honour.
